Welcome to my personal portfolio site. I'm a Boston-based freelance web designer and web developer. I earned my BFA in Digital Media and Graphic Design/Letter Form from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in May of 2008.

There are many reasons as to why I took two paths instead of just one while attending college. You might not notice at first, but graphic design is all around us everyday. It drives our perception on how we perceive the world. Your thoughts, emotions, and ideas change based on what you see. Along with graphic design, I also choose to work as a web designer and web developer. Constructing websites for both large and small businesses. Graphic design acts as the visual guidance, while code development plays an equal role in assisting the information design, from a back-end perspective. Understanding accessibility, browser compatibility, and web standard issues from a programmers perspective are all crucial components for a functional website.

As a dual major, I have the unique opportunity to explore two immensely large worlds which, although similar, are quite different. I thoroughly enjoy seeking new ideas and producing design materials for a wide range of clients.

Currently, I work at Intronis, located at Boston's Fort Port Channel district. I work mainly as the web designer, but I also maintain their website (code) and work closely with the back-end developers.

Before Intronis, I worked at Visual Dialogue as a full-time freelance web designer. Visual Dialogue is a print and web design firm based in Boston's historic district South End. The studio was small but it gave me the opportunity to touch up on various skill-sets at any given time.

When not at work, you can catch me riding my bike around the Boston, taking photos with my Canon 20D, and checking out the latest pieces of art work at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. I tend to do a lot of browsing in local bookstores for new design inspiration. Occasionally, I'd like to spend my free time cooking or sampling unique and diverse cuisines from around the world as well.
